A Dream

A Dream
|
I remember a dream. It was a whole new format. I was able to adjust the dream anyway I wanted. So I had a pleasant dream.
I was fishing. What could be more pleasant? So I added my wife to the scene. She sat on the shore and told me how wonderful I was doing and gave me a kiss every time I caught a fish. Then she started calling the kids every time I caught one. However, she did not want to be in the water, so I added her sister. She was fishing beside me. Every time I caught one or she caught one, she would give me a hug, so we caught more. When I had my limit of trout, I started catching crappie, and so forth. My wife, of course, gathered family all around her, so she could tell them about how beautiful the sun was shining, so I kept adjusting the dream to make it a more and more beautiful fall day with changing leaves and a warm breeze. The happier she got, the more pleasant my dream was for me. I am happy when she is happy. She is happy when her kids are with her. The happier she got, the more hugs I got, so it was just a pleasant dream because my family was there, and I remember it. Too bad I woke up before the fish fry. So, pleasant dreams to you. |

Good Luck, Have a Nice Day
Dr. Howard wishes the fishermen "Good Luck" with a song, though it seems redundant to wish someone good luck and a nice day, since they are already fishing. |
Born for the Mountains

Born for the Mountains
Long legs, fast feet, and a head held high Born in the mountains Give me an axe and a rod and staff, |
On our family fishing trip, we discovered who was born in the mountain and loves to return to the mountains to run, hike, fish, and everything else. Dr. Howard composed a new song to illustrate his passion. Luke Williams, a marathon runner and triathlete, and mountain sportsman, appears in the video.

Rain, Rain, Rain Go Away

My five year old grand daughter saw me writing music, and decided to write some notes of her own. I copied her notes onto a music staff and added a harmonic structure. This is the result. The notes and the title are all hers.

You are not alone. You have family, and also a Father in Heaven who loves you. Martha Ninfa Encalada Torres LOS HERMOSOS PAISAJES DESCRIBEN LOS VERSOS INSPIRADOS QUE ROY CANTA, PERO SOBRE TODO, NOS DICE LAS VERDADES ETERNAS QUE NUNCA DEJARÁN DE SER ETERNAS NI VERDADES. LAS MISMAS QUE DEBEMOS OBSERVARLAS, PORQUE ES NECESARIO QUE OBEDEZCAMOS A DIOS EN TODAS LAS COSAS PARA REGRESAR CON NUESTRAS FAMILIAS AL HOGAR CELESTIAL. GRACIAS ROY POR ADVERTIRNOS PARA PREPARARNOS MEJOR PARA ALCANZAR NUESTRO BELLO ANHELO Y NO PERDERNOS EN EL CAMINO. |

Get Me Out of my Seatbelt, I Wanna Go Home
|
Children at age five can enjoy fishing, but the long trip home can be a chore. Dr. Howard sings to cheer his grand daughter on a 10 hour ride home. Her mother did most of the entertaining. The words to the song are all contributed by the five year old. Annie E. Williams, Liyrics, Roy E. Howard, Composer, ©2011 Cantos Para Todos 1. Get me out of my seat belt... I wanna go home. 2. Colorado is fine but... I wanna go home. 3. My ear popped and it hurts and... I wanna go home. |
