Fall: October 2: attended regional meeting for communications and computer technology representatives from educational agencies. Attended the National and New Mexico Association for Bilingual Education conferences. Attended WEB Ct Class and integrated web components in all courses.
Research. Shared current research and conference notes with students with handouts and multimedia presentations.
Legacy Project
Develop and taught three educational technology courses. Assisted adjunct and regular professors with three other educational technology courses.
Submitted course proposals for Navajo 501, 502, and Multicultural Literacy (with Dr. Quattromani). Preparing course proposals for Navajo Language Arts, Navajo Culture, and Navajo Bilingual Methods and Materials.

-Translate a biography of José Rizal into English from the original 19th Century Spanish in conjuction with Adjunct Professor Jean Hall
-Design, gain approval, and conduct a research project investigating the effect of 7 years of Bilingual Education training in five school districts in cooperation with Associate Professor Andrés Rodríguez
-Present current research at national and state conferences

Presented at the National Association for Bilingual Education, and the New Mexico Association for Bilingual Education Conferences: Fiestas de Diciembre, Navajo Music in the Schools, The Media and Bilingual Education, and the Value of Bilingual Education. Published two poems in Bradshaw, J. (Editor), "College Anthology of Poems, Book II"; California Education Center, 1998. Design and carried out research: "Attitudes toward bilingual education" for the Gallup-McKinley School District. Wrote grant application: Western New Mexico Bilingual Education Training Project. $1.200,000. over five years. ___ ___
